JUNE.17 It’s been a busy couple of weeks, here’s what’s been keeping me busy… LIVE CHAT I started the month by hosting a week of live chats on Instagram. Bootcamp and Breakfast

Last week I was invited to ‘Bootcamp and Brunch’ at The Wellesley Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel, London, with personal trainer Matt Roberts. What a fab way to start the week! I arrived on Sunday evening ahead of the early morning bootcamp. The hotel is absolutely stunning, I stayed in the first floor suite which overlooks London’s Hyde Park. SO nice! Now that is what I call, a room with a view! Morning Miles … 7am. We met Matt in the hotel lounge and we had a brief chat to share our current health and fitness goals. Matt explained the structure of the workout as well as discussing the different training methods that he uses with his clients and at his fitness retreats. It’s already the second week in January! Apparently the third week of the month (Monday 16th to be specific) is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year. Yikes! Earlier this year I teamed up with Stylist magazine to share my top tips for winter training. It can be hard to motivate yourself when it’s grey and cold outside, here’s how I’m planning to keep on track. Take Time For You – We all have mega busy lives. Don’t let work, kids, and other commitments stop you from training. Going out for a run or an hour yoga class may be the only hour of the day that you’re doing something for yourself. Make it a priority, you’ll feel happier and more energised when you return. Make Fitness Fit – Make fitness a part of your everyday lifestyle, instead of another thing on your to-do lis. For example – Walk, rather than drive the kids to school and if they have scooters, put on your trainers and jog along side them.  That Feeling – One of the best things about HIIT is the feeling that you get afterwards. Adidas pureBOOSTX 5K run.

Last night I led a run through East London to road test the adidas red pureBOOSTX shoes. The shoes are designed specifically for women’s feet, I’ve been running in them for a month for my 5K a day run challenge, PBX are my new favourite footwear! The ladies arrived at 6pm and swapped their kicks for a pair of PBX. After a quick warm up, we were ready to run. Our 5k route took us from Shoreditch, towards Monument, passed the Museum of London, through Old Street and back to the Virgin London Marathon Sweatshop store. If you’re a London road runner, then you get used to navigating the traffic and dodging commuters. I love running though the city and it’s way more fun to join a group than to go solo.
