Throughout November I am going to be joining Ally Love and her LOVE SQUAD run challenge #ConnectThruSweat.

I met Ally last year in San Francisco at the global launch of the adidas UltraBoostX. Ally is an adidas ambassador, Peleton Instructor, Brooklyn Nets host AND the founder of Love Squad, a movement that encourages and empowers women to come together and to ‘connect through sweat’.
Ally DM’d me earlier this month to tell me about the concept of #ConnectThruSweat and to see if I would be up for the run challenge. Of course, I said yes!

As a runner and a supporter of women, I’m excited to get involved and to connect with all of the other runners too.


What is the challenge?

To complete 50 miles in 30 days. November is the start of winter training and it can be hard to stay motivated, especially if you’re a morning runner like me. So, we want to encourage you to commit to a daily run or walk. You can run on the road, trail, treadmill, whatever you want. If you break it down, it’s 2.5K a day (of course you can run further if you want to) BUT the key is the DAILY commitment.
I’ve done a similar challenge before and it made me realise that when I put my mind to something, I can be really disciplined.


November. The challenge is to run every single day. Then on Friday December 1st, I will lead a 5k run in central London to celebrate achieving 50 miles. We’ll run the streets of London together as well as being united globally with everyone taking part in the challenge in New York, Tokyo, Stockholm & London. We will all run at the same time around the world!


Joining together in this challenge will not only make us accountable to each other but as a collective we can motivate each other to get out the door every single day and tick off those miles.
