Raw Chocolate Mousse Recipe

I’m sure that you have heard of this healthy raw chocolate mousse dessert? It is made using avocados and apparently it’s delicious!

This year I’ve seen lots of the health gurus like Madeline Shaw, Ella Woodward & the Hemsley sisters create and share their healthy dessert recipes. They are packed full of nutrition and promise to satisfy your sweet tooth. Is it really possible to create a delicious dessert without using any sugar, butter or eggs? Those three ingredients combined, will make just about anything taste good! There are lots of different recipes for raw chocolate mousse . . . here is my own version.

Raw Chocolate Mousse Recipe

1 Ripe Avocado
1 Ripe Banana
2 Tbsp Coconut Cream
1 Tbsp Raw Cocoa
A drop of Soya milk
(grated chocolate topping optional)

This is the simplest mousse to make, it only takes about 5 minutes and you really can’t go wrong.

Add all of the ingredients into a bowl & mix into a smooth mousse. As you’re mixing, you can taste the mousse and adjust the quantities if necessary. Personally, I really like the banana taste but if you prefer, you could add more coconut cream. This is a great dessert for kids too. They’ll love the smooth chocolaty taste & they’ll never know that they are actually having an avocado for their pud!

So . . . the verdict on this sugar free dessert? The rumours are true, it really does taste delicious!
