Earlier this week I attended a party at Frame Kings Cross to celebrate the opening of their awesome new fitness studios! I left the party with a bag packed full of healthy goodies, one of which was a pack of Naturya Organic Wheatgrass Powder. I’ve only ever had fresh wheatgrass shots from juice bars before, I know that it is super good for you. Let’s face it, most foods that are bright green are good for you. (perhaps with the exception of Haribo’s green fizzy laces, damn it!)

This morning I made a green juice using 10 grams of wheatgrass powder. I added the juice of a whole lemon, half a glass of pressed apple juice, fresh mint & ice. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to stomach a big glass of green juice, first thing in the morning, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was super refreshing! Wheatgrass is packed full of vitamin E, calcium, iron and fibre, so it is a great way to kick start your day.

You can also add Naturya superfood powder to soups, pasta sauces, juices and dips too. A quick and easy way to get your greens !
