Here is my recipe for our families favourite cake –
225g Self Raising Flour
3 Mashed Bananas
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
2 Tbsp Boiling Milk
20g Chai Seeds
20g Pecan Nuts (broken into pieces)
Cream the butter & sugar together.
Add the eggs & bananas and mix.
Next, add the bicarbonate of soda, dissolved in the boiling milk.
Add in the sifted flour & baking powder to the mix.
Lastly, add the chai seeds & nuts.
Bake at 180* for approximately 30 minutes.
You can top with vanilla icing, nutella, or just enjoy it plain.
